East Ham Station is served by the District and Hammersmith and City lines. There is lifts available to the platforms the ticket hall area is large and wide. This station is very busy in the morning and evening rush hour with loads of passengers can take a while to get through the ticket barriers with so many passengers leaving at the same time. Outside the station is always busy with people standing around and street drinkers.
Busy, steep stairs and has a lift that goes from the platforms up to the exit and vice versa. There's a small shop inside and ticket issuing machines.
East Ham Underground station on High Street North Newham, based in London fare zones 3 and 4. Heavily urban multicultural.
There is a pigeon stuck in the ceiling fencing and trying to get out. At the end of the platform of district line going towards Upminster. Could someone kindly help the pigeon out. Please do not add poor fencing to keep them out just for them to get inside and get stuck.
Small station in zone 3 for district and Hammersmith line . Lot of asian shops, restaurants and hindu temple near by. Very crowded during peak hours and difficult to enter in to the station in stairs. Lifts available and small news agent shop present inside station.
