Such a beautiful, well kept and tranquil setting. Staff couldn't be more helpful and empathic. Can't thank them all enough for the care they gave to our family following the loss of my dad. Exceptional. Above and beyond.
I've recently attended two funerals at the East Devon Crematorium. Can't fault the premises; a large waiting area, comfortable seating in the chapel, and set in lovely surroundings. However, as a person who is audio challenged wears hearing aids I found it difficult to hear and follow all the proceedings. I often use the Loop Hearing system, installed in lots of premises . I was amazed that no such system is installed here. Funerals are attended mainly by older people, and at today's service, I counted at least 9 hearing aid users, probably more as one can't see if any ladies are using them. Chatting afterwards, I found several people who missed out on anecdotes due to poor sound amplification, but more specifically, due to the lack of a loop hearing system. So not really good enough; Exeter Crematorium I know has a loop system installed.
Staff lovely ,place very clean ,very respectful,no complaints at all
Tastefully presented in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Modern facilities and a pleasing Chapel. Easy access from Exeter, Sidmouth and Ottery.
Very well run at a sad time
