Lovely little gem in the heart of the lower swale valley. Very quiet and peaceful. A great walk from the station café, to here and back is a perfect stroll for any weather. The Abbey itself is still very much in tact. Compared to the nearby Richmond Castle, Fountains Abbey or Mount Grace Priory, there isn't as much, and it isn't as wheelchair / pushchair friendly, as it does churn up with mud in the winter, but it's still a fab place to take children while the adults can enjoy looking around at the Abbey and the church of Saint Agatha next door. I love this place, and strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a bit of serenity or peacefulness. Lovely place.

Lovely place so peaceful and love the condition English Heritage have kept this place. Easby is a great place for families and non families alike. It's located along the Easby loop walk and is a perfect stop along the way just East of Richmond. Plus it's free entry so that's even better.

Fabulous! Historical and informative. Easby Abbey is a lovely ruin with majestic walls and amazing architectural details. It is on grass so beware when it is wet. Difficult but not impossible for wheelchairs and strollers

Love this place for a leisurely walk. It is an imposing ruin with fantastic views.
