Earthen Street Cafe is a delightful place to have a coffee and treat. My mocha was a prefect chocolate-coffee and our cheese scones were slightly warm.nThe other diners were very friendly and chatty, every time we visit Bungay or Beccles proves Suffolk is so much more friendly than Norfolk.
Great little find in the high street, has a really interesting menu, totally unexpected to the usual tea shop/cafe fare. Had the sharing platter which was delicious and I got two and a half generous cups of tea out of my pot which is generally unheard of! Great atmosphere, recommend booking as this is where all the local are. Staff very friendly and helpful and theres also an outside courtyard and loyalty card programme. What's not to love??
Looking for a great little place for food in Bungay then look no further! On a freezing cold day we dropped in for lunch. We both had soup and a large cheese scone. Both were excellent just what was needed to warm us up. Service was friendly and prompt. Give it a try….
Excellent cafe for lunch on a dull January afternoon, with delicious cauliflower and toasted almond soup with a cheese scone and then a perfect rice pudding with plum compote
Nice cafe with a warm welcome. Has plenty of seating inside with lots of space and easy access. Also a cute courtyard for fine weather dining. I only made a quick stop for a bacon sandwich but cakes and meals looked good. I will go back. Booking recommended for peak times, it's popular!
