A good local bus station with four covered bus shelters each with seating, displaying the buses expected numbers & times.nnThere can on occasion get a noisy presence in the evening, but the local CSO's patrol the area as the police station is 20 yards away making sure it doesn't last long.nnIf you get peckish there is a local cafe Crumpets opposite the townhall just around the corner during the day and in the evening a Weatherspoons Nine Arches. These serve coffees and warm food.
A well used bus Station with buses to and from Leigh and St Helens...
All bus departure times are clearly shown on the timetables in the relevant stops.
Some shops. The market is being run down. The shopping area needs a makeover
Absolute rubbish most of the buses departing from Earlestown are not shown
