I stayed in the Eagle's Nest apartment while workng for a week in Stafford, only 15-20 minutes away.nHelen and Andy have curated a wonderful old building into a delightful combination of B&B plus the flat. I had a warm welcome the B&B bit - so much better than a code and a lockbox with the offer of a complementary home made flapjack on my arrival. I was shown up to the flat and around it, so that all thereafter was simple. Helen is enthusiastic about the house and its history and was a great host - the welcoming bowl of fruit and biscuits is always a nice touch. Plenty to do in and around Eccleshall and Helen showed me to a 5K into the countryside from the house that I did a couple of times. Pubs and food in Eccleshall. Give it a go.
Fantastic and historic family-run bnb, very memorable and beautifully decorated, with special extra treats for guests. Felt very welcomed by our friendly hosts. Lovely communal library to spend the evening in, walking distance from Eccleshall. Super comfortable beds. Parking a real bonus. Highly recommend!
