Really nice place. Lovely beer garden. Proper sun trap! Nice house gin and friendly staff. Oldest pub in Ipswich. Not serving food right now due to covid and no seating indoors covid. Great place!

Really nice atmosphere in this place. It's a quirky old building with bags of character, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Good range of drinks available, although I was slightly disappointed that they only had one real ale on offer during my visit. I'll definitely be coming back, and highly recommend the place.
What an awesome pub, staff are friendly with a great choice of drinks. Really enjoyed the German Lager on sale and the outside area was lovely on a sunny evening. Looking forward to a return soon

Fabulous service yesterday evening. Safety of patrons clearly paramount and very well organised. This is a lovely old pub with a great outside space in a private courtyard. Well done to The Spready!!
