I had a groupon voucher for an MOT..first time using this garage. I was expecting a fail with parts needed to recoup there costs....having had bad experiences as a woman driver at other garages. I was happily mistaken. Finally found an honest garage. Car passed no parts needed. Staff friendly and coffee supplied to me and my mom. Definitely use again. Thank you EAC.

I've used them 3 times now, every visit has been a good experience. Most recently my wife took her car there for an MOT, it failed on a broken headlamp mount. She also mentioned before the Mot that there was a loud knocking noise coming from the underside of the car. They didn't pick up the cause of the knocking noise during the MOT so took it for a test drive. They diagnosed a broken exhaust mount and welded it up. They also repaired the headlamp and re-tested it that day. The total cost for all this extra work was 35 quid. Years a go I worked in a dodgy garage that ripped people off on a daily basis, I can tell you now that EAC are nothing like that. They are a trust worthy and professional outfit.

Hi i had my Range Rover gear box sorted out this morning 04/04/2018 what a profesinal garage it is to, the costomer service was execellent ,the job cost half of what i was quoted by all my local garages, it made it worth the while to travel 60 miles , i would like to thank all members of staff that delt with me thank you! ;-) excellent job highly recommended.

RAC recovered my BMW to EAC following a breakdown at the car-wash. EAC quickly diagnosed the car as 'undriveable', stating that the completed electric steering column needed to be replaced. I had no communication with the mechanic but was advised by reception staff that only brand new BMW parts could be used and there was no alternative option. Very quickly quoted over £800 for this repair and advised that I could pay in 3 monthly instalments if I so wished. 

Had advice from numerous people to have the car looked at elsewhere for second opinion. 

I contacted EAC to say I would get car collected following day & thanked them for their service. Receptionists Emma and Debbie advised on 2 occasions that the car was completely undriveable/immovable without said repairs and would need to be collected on a recovery truck. I arranged a recovery truck to meet me at EAC to take my car elsewhere. 

When I arrived at EAC to collect my car keys & await the recovery truck it was evident that the car had been driven from a different place to where I left it on the car park - I queried how this had happened if it was immovable. I was given the summarised diagnostic printout which advised that steering lock was now removed and the car was drive-able, but unclear how long this would last. 

On getting a second opinion from a BMW specialist garage, I was advised that infact the steering column is not in a state of disrepair and most certainly does not need replacing. Infact, the reason the car was not starting is due to the car-wash mistakenly spraying dashboard cleaner into the ignition which prevented the electric key from being read correctly. The quoted repairs were not necessary, neither was the recovery truck which was going to cost me over £60. 

Despite appearing professional and smart, EAC's misdiagnosing and attempting to charge for unnecessary repairs could have cost me over £800. Whether intentional or not, this was not acceptable and I thank my lucky stars I found sensible, clued up people to advise me before agreeing to £820 worth of repairs.

Please, be wary.

Don't go near them. Extortionate prices.  AVOID don't let them waste your time.
