Been waiting to visit this venue, so after a few drinks in the sunshine we called in just on the off chance they had a table for 3.nLuckily they had 1, lots of choices on the menu, while we waited for our table, we had a look at the menu, we mentioned the Japanese style beef, just chatting amongst ourselves, the kitchen is open plan and 1 of the chefs recommended the dish.nWe ordered 2 Japanese style beef, a seared beef fillet, pickled ginger, yuzu kosho, wasabi, citrus and crispy onions, 1 beef brisket tacos,salsa, avocado, pickle and tortillas.n2 portions of skin on French fries, salt & pepper chicken wings, chilli jam and spring onions.nAll the food was amazing, came quickly with our drinks order, the Japanese style bèef was served cold, but it's one of the best dishes I've ever had in a restaurant, and I've tried a few .nThe tacos were delicious and the fries crispy on the outside, soft inside, chicken wings, plate cleared.nThis is a serious find for foodies in Sowerby Bridge, recommend booking though it was a Wednesday when we visited, so we were lucky to get a table, opening hours 12-9 Wednesday to Saturday
Engine Social Dining is a contemporary fusion restaurant offering many twists on Asian dishes and ingredients. Superb space. Hip and buzzing. The kitchen was extremely clean and well run.nnThe menu is extensive with numerous tapas. So kudos to the kitchen for keeping it all straight. Cracking visit to Engine last week. Service was spot on from start to finish. Proper welcoming, attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. Food was class, and the chicken skewers were absolutely outstanding, packed with flavour, and the beef cheek special was unreal. Top team, top food, great atmosphere.
Came from Manchester to try this restaurant and was not disappointed. Food was unreal and the staff were amazing, Lily in particular was the best! Japanese beef tataki dish in particular was so good!
