Not sure what's happened here. Used to be one of my favourite takeaways. Went today and the place seems to have gone down hill. Behind the counters was dirty and a nasty smell coming from somewhere. Also they seem to have water all over the floor. I had a pie for a change and when I got home it was all broken up and was cold in the middle. I hope this is a one off, but not sure I'll be back
Hubby just been for a large portion of chips 3.10 I could count how many for that price that we got,! He said to the lad I ordered a large he said that is large!! Well you can stick your large chips as every where else that would be a regular! Just total rip off Parking: Nothing to say
Used this chippy around 3/4 times in the last 2 months. On each occasion its been fantastic. Chips are light and fluffy. Fish melts in your mouth. Sausages are very nice. They also do a really nice spam fritter! The batter isn't massively greasy, which is good thing. Gravy is also very good, and overall the prices are great. Staff are very friendly polite. A very good chippy well worth a visit!
They were busy, but the place seemed so dirty, there was an awful smell coming from the back, I was able to count eight flies about on the ceiling and I was over charged, the food was okay though.Food: 3/5
We found this chippy by accident, and are so glad that we did. Great sized portions, non greasy, fresh fish and chips that actually have flavour. The sauces are lovely too. The staff have always have smiles on their faces and are nice and cheerful. We're happy to travel from the other side of Stockton for a takeway from here..top marks from this family!

Had three portions of fish and chips last Tuesday afternoon. Very disappointing…the food was not freshly cooked, the chips were Luke warm and tasteless and the fish just ok. When you first opened it was the best ever but over time it’s noticeable how standards are slipping..shame!!
Fresh fish, great chips, and peas. The service is quick. Parking: Free and outside the shop
