A beautiful castle ruin on the Ayrshire coast, paid parking available which allows you to wander around. Can be muddy depending on weather. You are able to access both the labyrinth and the castle; the castle even has a metal staircase inside so you don’t need to worry about your footing. The labyrinth stairs are a little steep so you need to take care there.
Absolutley amazing views the scenery for a wee drive somewhere different really lovely place.
Don't expect anything huge - check the photos. It's cute and well done and has great views of the castle ruins.
Its only a wee labyrinth & it has a little shrine in the centre. Great views all around mainly over to the Castle. Make it to middle, make your offering, light the candle & say a prayer.
Good paid parking with facilities. Steep walk down but very picturesque and interesting.
Fine walk with the dog down on to the beach, labyrinth will look better later on in the year once flowering. Great views of Dunure castle from the beach which features in Outlander, topped off with a coffee and cake from the harbour coffee shop.
Bit smaller than I had thought but still nice for a walk then round the castle and down to the harbour view coffee shop
Just a pity the labyrinth is so overgrown. It was always well maintained
Lovely place, loads to explore and a very spiritual experience for me personally.
