This place is awesome! Had a fantastic weekend glamping down on the farm. Really friendly hosts and beautiful setting. Would definitely recommend the Dunsdon quarry pods to anyone looking for a chilled weekend away in North Devon.

What a lovely weekend! The Quarry Pods at Dunsdown Farm exceeded any of the expectations we had. Warm, comfortable and quirky pods, each with their own plush bathroom with hot shower that you didn't ever want to get out of - all in the most beautiful and tranquil countryside setting. A car is a must, but the drive from Bristol was only 2 and a half hours. The pods were easy to find, and everything was so pleasant and straightforward that we has no need to contact Paul and Kirsty throughout our stay, although they reassured us through helpful emails and texts that if we did need anything they would be on hand. We spent the days surfing at Summerleaze Beach in Bude - a mere 20 minutes drive from the pods - and it was a simple delight to return to pod each evening, exhausted after the day and cook up a storm on our camping stove! Wish we could come every weekend - can't recommend enough.

Wasted £330 on this place for our honeymoon. We had our wedding on the saturday and travelled down on the sunday. We got told bad news and would have to attend a friends funeral on late notice. We informed the owners of the site hoping we could be refunded the money. They did not seem sympathetic and we were told that we should have notified them sooner. With this being the case we thought we would make the best of a bad situation, however due to how bad the place is, we left after staying just two nights and lost £220. The Internet did not work, even though it seemed to be one of the main selling features to the place with a big wifi logo on their site. It even said in the welcome pack that we are not to contact them about problems with the internet. It was pretty much in the middle of know where so you had to spend a long time travelling. Also the pods are in a horse shoe so there is no privacy and it is not great when there are others staying who are quite noisy or smoke. There is no view, only that of the other guests sitting in the middle, and even with the doors closed you can hear everyone talking. The website is very deceiving as you will only find peace and tranquillity if you are the only ones there, and don't mind looking at hedges and the other pods. We wouldn't recommend to anyone and others that stayed seemed to have the same view.
