I had a disappointing and stressful visit to Dunnes this afternoon while on holiday in the area. The 'paid parking' procedure is a perfect nightmare! The only option was to insert a 50p coin for parking! Most car parks now give the option of paying by card or by phone in the 21st Century. The system that Dunnes use strikes me as something that was used in the eighties or nineties? I had to go to 'Customer Services' and purchase a bag at 25p and then get £10 cash back in change and return with a 50p coin to sort the parking .... hoping that the 'car parking attendant' hadn't got there before me! Finally to finish off my experience I was overcharged for an item I purchased but the queue was so large I didn't have the will or energy to wait and rejoin it again ... otherwise I would have had to top up my parking again! So I wouldn't recommend Dunnes in Coleraine for retail therapy....way too stressful.
Plenty of good choices and the prices are very good. Definitely a good store for clothing and household items.
great Dunnes. Soooo much better than the one in Ballymena which is my' local' . The latter has become dowdy and the staff are lack lustre. the Coleraine branch has a real buzz about it!
Always good for a look around but when it comes to buying there is frequently a long queue. Today the staff asked for help three times over the sound system and noone came. Clothes are good quality and exceptional value. I'll go back certainly but I do wish they would staff the tills properly as this is not the first nor the second time I have experienced this.
As usual very well set out. Lots of beautiful Christmas items in. Quite a few items in ladies and children reduced. Spent £44 on 2 jumpers a blouse and pair of trousers. One of the jumpers was full price at £20. Very happy with my purchases. Staff at tills were polite and friendly.
