Four of us had a great meal at the Dunmar,midweek. Two of our party were gluten free which Dunmar cratered for with flying colours. Chef and staff went the extra mile to accommodate us.

Attended a wedding venue on Saturday 14th was a wonderful day, meal was first class hospitality second to none I would RECOMMEND anyone thinking of a venue there to go there

Attended a wedding at the hotel and stayed overnight lovely setting with lovely features.. the alfresco wedding service was amazing everyone had a great day.. However the rooms were far from clean.. very basic and dated badly in need of a makeover room 5 had its own black damp growing within the walls adding to the character (I think not)the cleanliness was far from basic and not having that all important full length mirror you'd expect from a hotel holding wedding events and very much over priced at £85 per night!! I've stayed in classier B&Bs 😤

Had our wedding here at the Dunmar on 26th August 2017, and have to say that everything went fantastically. We couldn't have asked for any better, as everyone was amazing and the day progressed without a single problem! A special mention to Robert, our MC and person with whom we dealt with from the start. He was fantastic in every way, and very flexible in regards to the time delays (our photos ran on a bit). Also Nicole, who was there with us the night before to help us set up, and who also got the rest of the hall looking absolutely amazing for the day. The food was amazing also during the wedding banquet, and everyone was very happy with what they received (steak pie and crannachan was phenomenal!) The buffet was also well received! All in all, it was an amazing day and myself and my wife have nothing but high praise for everyone involved. I would highly recommend the Dunmar for any function.

Lovely place, although could do with a little bit of a refurb. Staff are lovely and cannot do enough to help. Robert and Chris are great.
