This is my most favourite spot in town. Day/night, sunshine or rain. It is relaxing and you can feel the history in the architecture and appreciate the people who are resting here.
Great sight to see. Knowledgeable staff at historic Scotland shop. Great storey about the place and the related People.

The Abbey and palace were lovely. Would definitely recommend paying the £5 each to walk around. The stained glass windows were beautiful.

Beautiful abbey. Well worth visit. The Bruce is buried there inside the abbey.
We had a great time looking round but what made it were the staff telling the history and guiding us round. Good weather helps the open air parts, the palace ruins and grounds. The abbey is a massive place, the church where Bruce is interred is a working church with displays explaining the history.
The Abbey and grounds are very pretty. Directly located next to the Dumferline Library and Gallery. A great part of Scottish history.
It's great to see such ruins so well taken care of. You can climb around a lot of it, and there are lots of plaques to help you visualize what it would have been like throughout the centuries. The staff member, Farrell, was extremely friendly and helpful.
