Store is wonderful, but eatery has a lot to be desired. No smiles, no thank you,nJust solemn faces, they obviously do not enjoy their job and certainly shouldn't benserving customers. I watched the counter from my table and still not a smile in sight, very bad.
Visited as was in the area, have never been here before and needed to waste some time.nHad a quick look around and it seemed well enough stocked, with plenty of different departments including a foodhall. Some things were more expensive than what I have seen elsewhere, but that said did not make any direct comparisons and some of their kitchen utensils seemed comparable with others from cheaper stores.
Good stock, good prices, rude staff on shift. I asked one of the staff if there were more cushions in stock as there were three of the type I liked and I was ted one more. Took three attempts to get her attention, and when I did she was very unhelpful, stating she was on deliveries. Surely she could have asked a colleague or at least been more polite. I then got served by someone who looked like she'd rather be at a funeral than facing customers. Shocking experience at a store I nif.ally love. I didn't but the cushions btw, so that's 60 quid the miserable delivery staff member cost you!
