We went to your store on Tuesday 21 October. With our friend the service we received was outstanding. A lovely lady called Nickky went out of her way to help our friend who has parkinsons. Nickky couldn't have done more to help she kept checking on our friend to help her with her choices what a fabulous lady she is.please also all the staff were brilliant as well.so thank you store for your outstanding customer servicenMy friend came away a very happy lady with her shopping Nikky you were fabulous. I ordered a single sofa bed which is great, but my 5 star review is for the Dunelm delivery service. Dunelm narrowed down the delivery slot to a 3 hour window the night before which was really helpful. Then on the day the driver called me one hour before to let me know their approximate delivery time, again so helpful! My chair was delivered by two really friendly people I think they were called Sam and Dan, I didn't write their names down so hopefully I'm right. They were quick and efficient. They found my building immediately and the correct entrance it's a large, old mill without issue, this rarely happens. They also brought the chair in to the building and lift with no problem or complaints. It's honestly the quickest delivery of furniture to and in to my building I've ever experienced. I would definitely order large furniture to be delivered again from Dunelm.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! - If you want to be out of pocket come to Dunelm!!nnUsed their “made to measure” service to order some custom made window shutters for my property.nnUsed their online service measured in Inches as this is an option on their site and submitted my order and paid for them.nnThey claim your order will be fitted within 4 weeks however, 6 weeks down the line I am without shutters and out of pocket.nnMy shutters arrived at the store later than expected and I received a call from my local store to say they had arrived but looked very small no one had been in touch with me since I placed the order until this pointnnLong story short it seems the website has defaulted to CM when I’ve placed my order so instead of 50inch shutters, the store has received 50cm shutters, I’m sorry but who has a 50cm window?!?! Why would you even make them or process the order without contacting me?nnDunelm advertise a “free measuring service” but this hasn’t been offered to me at any stage in the process, you would assume the would at least call and check the order with you or come out and measure to check before having the item made considering their terms and conditions basically say the keep your money whether they are right or wrong, dunelm aren’t bothered either way.nnThe customer service team are Robotic and unhelpful and clearly just follow scripts.nnThe only resolution they have is for me to re-order them and pay another £695.00 which is not happening as I’m out of pocket.nnThey way this ends is they have stolen money off me and won’t refund and the only options are pay £695 or keep the dollhouse sized useless shutters that have arrived and be down money.nnFighting a losing battle as they just hide behind their terms and conditions, I’ve spent a lot of money at Dunelm over the years but they won’t be having another penny from me ever again.nnIF YOU WANT BLINDS, SHUTTERS OR CURTAINS GET THEM ELSEWHERE THEY ARE CHEAPER AND YOU WONT GET STUNG LIKE ME!!!!
Much better since the refit. Coffee shop much better now, needs a bit more room to walk through and sit. Store has a huge range of products available and prices are good. Checkouts are a pain get to, only after walking through a narrow little maze, loads of checkouts but normally not enough cashiers. Range of made to measure curtains and made to order sofas etc are very nice and decent prices. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Easy to park near the store.nNice bedding, good range of colours and styles. Used click and collect too.nEasy to use.
