A huge 'thank you' to Marc from Dundee Crematorium. I went to visit my Mum and Dad's memorial rose plot 18th December 2025. I'd brought a Christmas wreath and photo slate etc. As I reached the grave, Marc was nearby and offered his help to tidy up the leaves from the plot and help place my items on the plot. Marc was so careful and considerate when placing the items. Marc noticed that the post supporting the rose tree was rotting at the base. He has now replaced the post too! This was so kind of Marc. I am disabled and would have struggled to do the wonderful job he did! The memorial rose plot looks absolutely beautiful! It's the first time in 19 years that I've been able to visit my Mum and Dad's memorial rose plot at Christmas time as I live in Portsmouth now. Marc you went above and beyond to help me and your kind words were much appreciated!
In Dundee on a business trip from Leeds. Called at the cemetery as my dad’s family cremated there so laid some flowers. It was absolutely beautiful, the gardens were so well cared for, the pathways were clean and no moss to slip on. Even lovely benches to sit on and reflect.nI was disappointed to see one of the name plaques missing and was told they tidied up and any broken ones were either repaired or thrown away. They are now £479.00 but not sure why as they are just a small engraved plaque…. I will have to think about that!!
Thank you for the respectful and caring way you looked after our dear father, Alexander Munro and our family through this difficult time. Everything was handled with great compassion. Thank you for helping us say goodbye in a way that honoured our father.
I have attended a few funerals over the years and I must say when I am there I can’t hear a thing Question is do they have a loop system for hard of hearing people. I have asked a few people if they heard clearly and most people say they could not hear clearly. Unless you are sitting at the front.
Our family are scattered here. I came to pay my respects today and was so upset and horrified to see how unkempt the crematorium was. There are weeds everywhere. People's sentiments blowing around . Plastic flowers strewn across the lawn what an utter disgrace. The crematorium staff should be a lot more respectful of people' dearly departed ones. If not, they are in the wrong job.
