This crematorium seems to be well laid out. There are plenty of small gardens and quiet areas for to sit and think of loved 1's that have past.
I would not recommend this crematorium for anyone saying good bye to a loved one, I was appalled by the amount of time allowed, you are hassled in and out like a sausage factory, my wife and her sister were given no time to meet and greet mourners and shuffled to a car to be whisked off, another set of mourners were huffing and puffing waiting to get in through the same entrance.nThe whole process was disrespectful and whoever is in charge of the whole process needs to get a grip on the situation, during the service there was a mixup with the music and a lady popped out from behind a curtain asking how many verses and I will look for the musicnIt was a complete comedynShame on Dundee council and whoever seems to be in charge.nI would warn all relatives of deceased loved ones to think again and try to avoid this place
Do not use this crematorium. The coffin is covered and then descends to what are underground cremation facilities that are currently being refurbished. This means that families are ushered in and the out the entrance rather than the usual side door where families would normally meet mourners. I’m not saying our loved one wasn’t offered the dignity, but on arrival there was no one. Literally no staff until the minister arrived. We were family who chose to arrive independently of the cortège. The minister directed US to tell the family what to do! Where were the staff if you’re charging ridiculous prices for the chapel, let alone the cremation.
Went to a funeral today and couldn't get parked. Place was full, no additional parking facility for overspill. It's a sign of how popular person was but poor for those who couldn't get in. They also put bollards over entrance so when I tried to drive round one more time, looking for disabled space. I couldn't even get in,not even to listen to service from outside as they had put loudspeakers on. Poor show for me and all the others that couldn't get near Dundee crematorium.
A very sad time beautiful service but to have to go out the entrance and turn your back on the deceased lying there with just a cover is very upsetting as they can't lower the coffin I would advise to go to Perth
