With out a doubt one of the best places to eat in North Yorkshire! Been many times when visiting family in Yorkshire - long way from our home in Brighton! We've never been disappointed with the food and kindness/ friendship of the staff. I've never had a lemon merangue pie that comes close to tasting as good as "Duncans!
Brilliant food, good value and very friendly and efficient service, would definitely return next time I'm back in the area!
Stopped for lunch today at Duncan’s Tearooms with my wife and parents. I can honestly say all four of us agreed it was the best lunch we have had anywhere for a very long time. Food and service were both impeccable.
Simply the best home made food, including toasted sandwiches and massive range of cakes and desserts. All staff are so friendly caring and helpful with nothing being too much trouble to make sure your visit won't be the last! It's small and cosy so I'd advise you book a table ahead of your visit. Enjoy
The food in Duncan's is so good! Everything on the menu is fantastic making it hard to choose It is fresh, tastes amazing and the presentation is the wonderful. The staff are so nice and couldn't be more helpful.
