The castle is next to the harbour. There is a Old building that has a couple of old cannon's which are know made out of wood as the original ones are in Edinburgh Castle. Worth a look as the harbour is pretty cool. Not much left of the castle but it must have been an epic fortress during the wars of independence.
Very quaint and beautiful place to wander around. A working fishing harbour where you can see the lobster boats coming in and unloading. The town itself is beautiful too.
Went via boat and saw the castle after going to lighthouse situated 4 miles offshore with huge colony of ganets, which is a must see.
Beautiful little harbour that the castle ruins are situated around. The old castle walls are now a good place to watch Kittiwakes who have taken over them as nesting spots. Beautiful place , right on the harbour in Dunbar
Stunning views once again here. Been many times over the years. Also a very good snack bar at the harbour side.Visited onWeekend
You can't go on it or in it but it is of historical significance and home to lots of seagulls
It's remnants, tiny remnants clinging to sheer rock jutting into the bay. Potentially dangerous to kids and animals inaccessible to disabled or infirm. Visually impressive viewed from the nearby leisure pool and paved walkway.Visited onPublic holiday
