One of the most complete brochs left. Great structure and all made by hand. The people must have been a lot smaller then as the gap between the outer and inner walls is not that wide!nGood information boards giving the history and show how it may have originally looked.
Lovely little hidden gem for an adventure with the kids. Roadside parking for 3/4 cars and just through a gate opposite. Well preserved Broch in a stunning setting.
Well worth a look. The half nearest the road is in great condition. Much of the stone at the rear has gone but allows a look at the inner workings within the wall. Was originally built over 2000 years ago. Spent an enjoyable and interesting 20 minutes here on the the way to the brewery no far away along the same road. Visit to both highly recommended if your down that neck if the woods.

Nice broch with abot of back ground information .nnGood condition and worth a look if in area .nBe careful if going up the steps in rain ..very slippy !!
