Arrived here hungry and expectant as had heard good opinions of this inn. Sadly, I was disappointed. Having ordered our food and drinks from welcoming and friendly staff, we sat back and waited. After a reasonable interval our food was served but unfortunately my plate was cold and the beef stroganoff was lukewarm. The other 2 dishes were quite hot so we had no issue with those. I reported my meal to the waitress who apologised and promptly offered me to choose a replacement meal, but since we had an onward journey to make this was not an option. I agreed to my meal being warmed up in the microwave but when it was returned me, the first bite was piping hot and the rest of my meal was just warm, while the plate was still cold. I informed a member of staff about this when asked at the end of our stay and they immediately told us that my course would be deleted from our bill. Although the staff dealt with the issue once notified, I would rather have enjoyed a piping hot, tasty meal and am debating whether I will return again
Great food,very economically priced. Set on the corner in the village of Dyffus beside the Post Office. The inn has a car park, wuite small but extra parking is available across the road near the play Park. Friendly efficient staff, a great menu, good looking range for Christmas with special offers. The food is cooked quickly and is delicious.

Price was average. Food was definitely above average and don't let the tacky outside put you off. The inside is a very nice country setting. I'd recommended for a date, family or a meal with a friend. Not much parking space but we used the town hall 20m away. We had the burger, peri chicken beef and they where all amazing you could cut the beef with a fork
We took a dear friend for lunch here recently and the food was delicious. It's been a long time unavailable due to Covid-19 lockdown, but am so pleased to see it has come out fighting, with high quality food and drink supported by helpful young staff.
