We have been to the wonderful farm at Duffryn Sheep Walking for a few years now for different events. I cannot say enough great things about this farm, the welcoming lovely family who run it and the fab events they run. Flawless from start to finish and you feel and see at all times the animals are so well cared for and loved! Animal welfare is their priority and you leave feeling that every animal is part of the farm family. The prices are so reasonable and IMO not a true reflection of what you get or how well it is run. The lamb feeding in Spring is one of our yearly highlights and i'd give them 100 stars if i could!
We had such a wonderful and memorable experience at the farm on Good Friday. Booked the lamb feeding session for a family of 5 and we had such a heartwarming time there.nThe chicks and calves were a bonus too! A true hidden gem in South Wales with a genuine intention to open up this experience to the public.nnWe were greeted by the dad at the parking lot and then welcomed by the entire family at the barn.nnThank you, Caroline and family! You all are a wonderful family and we hope to book a session again next year.
Staff were super kind and helpful. Animals were fairly well behaved haha! Great half day activity.nIn my opinion, a little under priced!
We really enjoyed this sheep walking experience
What a great experience on our doorstep!!!Lovely to have the family walking with us to give us tips eg. Sheep don't like mud and may try to jump over it and so we could ask questions. The sheep were all very well behaved and the walk was beautiful. Very well thought out, especially with regards to health and safety/handwashing etc. The kids loved their gift bags when they left too, a really lovely touch.
