Neat & well kept branch line station with very basic facilities. Trains are generally on time go between Nottingham & MatlocknnParking is fine but the ticket machine is temperamental & the steps on the bridge are quite narrow & very steep
This was a great station for arrival, with well-sized platforms for the train services! Station signs are clear and bridge is well situated, although exit from this is confusing in regards to which way to go to Duffield itself.
Steep bridge. No disabled access. No ramp access to platforms. The signs on the platform are a joke. How would you even get a wheelchair etc onto the platform?!
Very minimalist station I can't imagine it's easily accessible for disabled people as there are two sets of stairs to get into the platform. The station is also unmanned which is usually fine but the ticket machine has been broken for like a month. There is seating there and an indoor shelter but no toilets .
Impossible to leave the station with your bicycle/wheelchair. Steps only, no lift, no guiding rail for your wheels.
