Good free car park, handy for Rushden Shops. Can be busy but turnover is usually good enough to find you a place on most days, at most times. Easy access to and from Duck Street. Pedestrian route to / from the shops has both a ramp and steps. Handy for Wilko's. Disabled and driver with buggy parking, both of which are wider.
Free parking in the town centre, what's not to like?
Unfortunately I’ve noticed a lot kids on their bike’s have a tendency to hang out here. Sometimes can be a bit bang like to be honest. This can make it a bit hostile sometimes specially on weekends or at night. My advice don’t park in here if you have small kids or someone vulnerable. I would also like the council to do something to combat this from continuing.
This car park is well known and well used so gets very busy and is often full. The access and exit points are good and it's easy to get in and out of.

Little or no lighting through alleyway to houses and venues. No lighting tonight resulted in boots covered in dog mess as well as a hazard for tripping. Very poor.
Great to have a free car park and not have to watch the clock either!
