We needed to replace a trellis so parked in Style Cast car park . Husband popped into Topps Tiles to have a look round , actually found beautiful tiles for the bathroom. Staff very helpful and obliging lovely clean store .
Fantastic service and a great range of products. Got speaking to some of the guys there and they were all really helpful. I've never tiled before but they were patient and helped me every step of the way. Couldn't recommend any more
After a slight delay with online samples, the Broadstairs store was able to supply me with 1 in under an hour! Contacted the store to place the order and even recommended a local trader to complete the job. A pleasure to deal with from start to finish!
I have used Topp Tiles as my only place to buy tiles and previously i have not had any issues. I had ordered my kitchen tiles through lockdown and had the tiler booked on for the job today. We had been given nearly 40 tiles less than what we had paid for, they were clearly not checked when we collected them today. I phoned up to find out what was happening and where the tiles were as the gentleman was booked to do the job today. Stephen answered the phone and informed me that they hadnt given us all the tiles. No apology he simply told me if i needed them today then id have to come and collect them. Awful customer service skills, youd think they would apologise to customer when they forget to give you your tiles! I did inform the deputy manager so hopefully he gets some needrd training. Over all before this i hadnt had a problem before, so i would advice people to just check who they are having to deal with when they place orders or collect their items.
Really polite and knowledgeable with their products and helped guide me round the website and the best way to buy samples in time for my project in these strange times. Will be buying my tiles from here as the quality and detail is perfect.
Doing a project in my downstairs toilet wanted to tile the wall but wasn't sure on what tile, told them the colours I had in there and was Suggested metro grey on the wall with gunmetal grout really happy with all the help I got, service and help was excellent.
We placed a large order of tiles and other items with this particular branch in Broadstairs and found the staff to be friendly, efficient and spontaneously gave us advice and discounts.. They are approachable and professional, we would recommend this branch and products anytime. Thank you.
I had rather a lot of money to spend on my house and started with my kitchen. I opted to make a purchase of tiles for my floor and awaited my delivery; when it didn't arrive as expected, I called the office concerned who told me that a delivery service wasn't included. I explained my position whereby Topps arranged a delivery. This was acceptable, until I realised that I had made an incidental purchase on the net, of one soap dish to further extend my project a little. This was an item which was out of stock at the time. As my project progressed I was in need of some more floor tiles for my bathroom, which, again I ordered from yourselves over a host of other suppliers available. I am very happy with both purchases of floor tiles, however, after my builder had finished and left for the last time, I proceeded to clean my new bathroom floor as they are supposed to be a gloss tile. On closer inspection I found that all of the tiles are in fact gloss except one which seems to have a dull bloom about it. My builder hadn't noticed it, so I tried to rectify it myself without success. I hasten to add that I didn't use any products as I wasn't sure if that was appropriate or possibly ruin the look altogether. It couldn't look worse. I decided to call the office to query the phone call I had received a few days earlier saying that the soap dish was now ready for collection. I don't drive, so this was out of the question as I live over 15 miles away. I told Topps to cancel the order and refund to my debit card, to which I received the response of; Topps won't actually do that, ie refund my money, and that I can deduct it from my next order. Apart from the fact that I have now completed my whole project, Topps would be the last place that I would entertain for tiles or anything else for that matter. I shop exclusively digitally and this is because I am disabled, as I explained to the gentleman with whom I last spoke, upon which he suggested; in light of me being disabled and a non-driver, that he would put a refund in place. I wonder if he is patronising me? I feel that the service which I have received is rated so low on my scale it doesn't even score 1, and for the reasons listed at the bottom of this email In Topps favour, I received a call from them to inform me that my long awaited soap dish is in stock, to which I replied that my project is finished and the item is now academic, but thanks for the contact and this is where the LACK of service resides fuelling my exasperation I hope my email makes sense despite it's muddled style, but it came free with my condition, being MS. Let's move on to the initial delivery of tiles for wall and floor; This delivery was made by an independent company, who's drivers were not prepared to take my tiles to my rear entrance where they would be safer than on my open plan front lawn and my builder wasn't due till the next day. At this point I am losing hair as well as sleep. On delivery of the second floor tiles and after a phone call from my builder placing the request, a discussion took place where as we had quite a lot of surplus tiles for the ground floor Topps would take them back. This return didn't happen, what did, in fact, happen was instead of a dozen each of plain black and plain white gloss tiles, I received 18 white and only 6 black, you took a call regarding this, and this was the result; you sent 6 more black but failed to pick up the excess white tiles which I still have in my possession taking up space, where it was the delivery driver's responsibility to ask for them as they should have been on his work list and not for me to remember. This is the general style of operations which I have experienced over this whole business.
So impressed with service from Westwood cross store. The team have helped me find the perfect tile, been helpful with samples a and even refunded me when tiles went into a promotion. Thanks gents for your friendly support
First day back open to the public and the service was still as good as I remember. Store looked clean and the staff were as always, very welcoming.
