Nice park to stretch the little ones legs around Lochend Loch. Lots of parking and easy access to a path that will take you around the perimeter of the park. The Loch has plenty of Swans an Geese. Plenty of Picnic tables along the way. We went to the “Crannog” park which my little fella really enjoyed, it was well later out and one of the best parks I have come across in the area. We finished our little trip with a visit to the Icecream Van. Looked a great place for a walk or run, I did see a lot of dogs being walked also.
This is a fantastic country park with loads of paths for walking and exploring! Lakes with loads of sucks, swans, geese and other birds. Amazing play areas for the kids. Visitor centre with tea coffee and snacks. Loads of parking. Best bit is exploring the woods on the far side.
Really enjoyed this country park. Has a really big modern play area at one side and another play park across the loch. Lots of woodland walks as well!
Brilliant big park two play parks with in it so if you have younger our old kids they'll love it especially the big wooden play park for the older kids has a cafe n toilets too sometimes there's an icecream van
Paved secure walk way. Great for walks and dogs. Paved path around loch is 1 miles. Entire loop of external park is 2miles roughly 4500 steps. Public centre with cafe However toilets shut when centre does 9am till 5pm. Wheelchair access. Sufficient car park. Maybe wild birds. Play park for kids.
I have never used the facilities or the cafe so I can’t comment on them but frequently walk around Drumpellier. Love the wildlife and the grounds which are well kept. The wooden park is amazing too. It can get super busy and it’s not really suitable for little children there is another smaller park that they can use around the park area lacks places for parents to sit with only a few benches out with full view of the park which means there are a lot of adults just milling about sometimes getting in the way of the children playing. But that can’t be helped I guess.
Great psrk for all the family, from young to older generation there is something for everyone. A huge lake to walk around that's 1.2miles around beautiful views and great outside. One of the best parks I've been too with my 3 children age 5, 13 and 14 :-
Litter pick here often. Great place to visit, great parks for the kids. Great walks for the dogs and loads of birds/wildlife to see and feed. Just wish people would remember to put their rubbish in a bin before they leave
Nice walk around the loch but can be a bit busy at times. Tons of geese and ducks. But the best part is the forest off to one side. Some nice easy walks through there, and it's usually pretty empty in my experience.
Really nice place to bring the kids or the dogs. Plenty of parking and nice wide flat tarmac paths, easy with a buggy or wheelchair. Nice wee cafe with limited items. Restrooms: Toilets available. Disabled cubical has a baby change facility. Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly yes Picnic area: Outdoor seating available by the cafe.
