Avoid this caravan site at all costs if you have a larger tourer as the touring area of this site is ridiculously cramp with steep pitches.

I arrived at this site with my family after booking in advance with our 26' (8m) twin axle caravan with the intention of putting our awning up for an 8 night stay.

Despite pre booking a relevent sized pitch, we were shown to a pitch that was at a ridiculous gradient as well as being exceptionally tight for length and width.

The caravan to one side of where we'd to been shown to (a single axle caravan), had TWO breeze blocks under each front steadier which were also extended to their maximum reach and our caravan being longer would not have been able to be levelled at all. As for the idea of putting our awning up, no chance there either as a result of the gradient and width of the pitch.

If the caravan had been able to be sited & levelled, there would still have been very limited space for our car.

We were offered an alternative pitch which was ¾,  tarmac ¼ hardcore rubble which was much better in size but no provision for our awning.

The only positive feedback to give is that we were given a full refund before leaving.

Highly recommend Drumhoney. Great place for the kids, they love it. Our last stay was just there at Halloween. Entertainment was brilliant and firework display, well it was better than some towns displays! Cant wait for our next stay. 10 /10
