Went on a hot day during school term, and although it was busy, it was fantastic! Clean, well organised with the time slots and I would definitely go back again.
Although the pool has been here since the 1930s there's nothing old fashioned about this place. Wonderful, super-clean brine pool like sea water and warm too - around 23°. Gentle sloping beach entrance at one end. Clean changing rooms not communal and warm showers. Lockers £1 refundable. Need to book in advance using the app/website. Plenty of paid parking available near the pool.
Fantastic day. Festival was great, the food options and prices were fantastic and it felt very safe and a good place for all. The pool seemed clean and there was always a lifeguard in sight.nI would definitely go again.nNot lots of car park space but I found a spot. Price for the car park was reasonable.
Beautiful lido for outdoor swimming located in the Lido park with cafe adjacent serving sausage sandwiches - ideal after a good swim. A real gem of the town. There is paid parking to the outside of the lido or free parking a few minutes walk away on Corbett Avenue.
Lovely outdoor pool in great condition.
