I live in Essex and such was my confidence in Dave and his team that I made the leap and purchased my first used car at a distance through Drive In. The Outback is a superb car, and I am now a convert to the brand My First Subaru. Dave's comms and responsiveness to my questions was first rate, and the car was delivered on a trailer to my home very highly prepared indeed. The previous reviews which were part of my decision to narrow my search to Drive In were backed up by own very positive experience of attention to detail and unfussy straightforward honest dealing. Sometimes you can buy a good car but the poor service received in the procurement and after-sales processes can tarnish your enjoyment of the vehicle, but not with these guys. I would highly recommend. Thank You!

We purchased a used Forester from this dealer, Drive in Autocentres Subaru. The car came with minor mechanical defects that we just didn't notice for a couple of days. We immediately informed the dealer who asked us to bring the car in for an assessment. Following the inspection of the car, communication from the dealer was always very poor. Call after call from us culminated in the dealer refusing to make the repairs. These were simple repairs, had we have noticed these on the test-drive we're sure the dealer would have carried out the repairs to get the sale Further to this, after five months of ownership the turbo failed. Despite the warranty package suggesting the turbo was covered, the warranty company / dealer declined the claim. Largely due to the reaction of the dealer regarding the initial minor issues with the car, we became persistent with the dealer to correct all of the faults with the car. After a month  the warranty company agreed to replace the turbo without charge to ourselves. We collected the car at the start of February 2022. At the end of February 2023 the turbo has failed again. We always maintain our cars ahead of time and use particular people to carry out any work where necessary. We have visited three Subaru specialists and now found a company that we feel happy to leave the car with to have a thorough diagnosis carried out and repairs made. The mechanic has reported that  there is clear evidence that Drive in Subaru failed to diagnose the initial turbo failure correctly and this has caused the replacement turbo to fail.  We're not  'Keyboard Warriors' and have left no reviews before today. We would not rate Drive in Subaru above any other dealership, we have read the reviews of Drive in Subaru and certainly would not put them on the customer satisfaction pinnacle they appear to be on.

First time using Drive In, was for a big job too. Had timing belt tensioners and water pump changed. Lovely friendly staff right from the desk to the mechanic. Kept me informed all the way though, great work and very competitive prices. Thank you all!

Had tyres fitted to our car. We had purchased our tyres delivered there. The reception staff was absolutely lovely in the logistics that led up to the appointment and so friendly on the actual day. I'll be sure to use them again. Big kudos to Jade, you are a star!

Highly recommended. Friendly.polite and  Got my car in straight away against tho odds . Jade and gav  the service advisors kept me up to date with the ongoing works couldn't fault anything well done guys  .

I’ve bought two cars from Drive In Autocentres,  dealing with Dave is straightforward, no fuss, no fluff, just honest conversations to work out best deal with no sales pressure. I’ve also used Drive In Autocentres for MOT’s, services, tyres & dashcam fitting, all work done to a high standard, all staff are friendly , approachable, all questions answered, price is always as quoted, nothing is too much trouble. Would always recommend to others to use, much better atmosphere than main stream dealers.

Very good service. This is now a Mitsubushi Service Centre as well as others and means I don't have to drive 10 miles for a service. I also forgot I had a service plan and paid. When I realised it was refunded straight away. They also did a puncture repair for free as part of the service.

Brilliant service would recommend to anyone  not just Scoobys they work on tho great place to get your car sorted out

I bought my car from Dave Here and as a woman purchasing a car, it was refreshing to have all questions & information directed at me rather than my husband. Dave was clear, honest and friendly. I have since used them for service and MOT. Due to a health issue preventing me from driving temporarily, they even collected my car despite me living a good 45 mins away! The guy who explained what they'd done on the phone was great and not at all patronising. All round great service, friendly knowledgeable team, no pushy salesmen - a really excellent place.
