Honestly cannot rate this garage any higher. They provide fantastic service, are extremely friendly. They offered me the best price for my car as a part ex, and made the whole process easier than I could have hoped for. Everything went so smoothly and I had my new shiny Subaru BRZ in my drive way within just 2 days of seeing the advert online!
Utterly disgraceful and dishonest dealership. Would avoid at all costs Drayton Motors Wirral. Most people are delighted when they purchase a new vehicle and those are the positive reviews. It’s when you have problems that the quality and integrity of a vendor shows. I bought an allegedly brand new vehicle with more than 50 miles on for more than £35.000 from Drayton Motors Wirral. Have had endless problems and had to return it on no less than 10 occasions with which Drayton Motors Wirral either refuse to fix properly or are incompetent to diagnose correctly. The quality of after-service is utterly shocking and the after-sales care is non-existent. I’m now stuck with a faulty vehicle which is inoperable all of the time and I’m out of pocket £35.000. Biggest mistake I’ve made in my 50+ years of buying vehicles. Never, ever have I had such a bad experience. I’ve bought an equivalent/better Audi SUV and the service was absolutely exceptional. I’m now not surprised Subaru aren’t doing well in the U.K., and with good reason, especially with utterly incompetent dealerships like Drayton Motors. The company doesn’t care about looking after its customers and this dealership Drayton Motors is an absolute joke. Be warned. I would give zero stars if it were possible.
The best experience in buying a car ever. I bought my XV before get back to UK so I can only communicate with Justin by email. He answered all of my questions and his response was very fast. He is such a friendly person and it was a pleasure to buy a car from him. They are willing to help and provide excellent services. I recommend Justin Taylor to all Subaru buyers.
I bought a new Subaru XV in December 2017. Nothing was too much trouble for the sales manager Justin Taylor, who went the extra mile to find the model I wanted: literally, as he had it transported from the other end of the country! He was very professional and kept me informed throughout the process. All at a good price. And the car is excellent, comfortable and capable, on and off road, and recently rated as the safest in its class. What more could anyone want?
We bought a BMW X3 from Drayton and traded our SLK towards this. We were given a fair price for our car and the X3 was in fantastic condition and we were really pleased with the deal Justin arranged. The whole experience of dealing with Drayton was first class and professional and we don't often leave reviews to state this. Very impressed and a pleasure to buy from
Justin was very attentive, friendly and extremely helpful to us whilst purchasing our Outback. Even after service was excellent by ordering various fittings for the car. Nothing was any trouble and would definitely recommend buying from Drayton Motors to anyone.
Great service buying my new XV, car arrived well before the initial estimate and looks amazing. Got a good trade in on my old car too. A good professional team at this dealer which I've used for servicing my previous car for the last few years.
Avoid Drayton Motors. I found them dishonest and incompetent. I took my Subaru that I had bought from them, back to them 5 times to get a dangerous fault remedied. They did not have the expertise or the correct equipment to diagnose or fix the fault. Eventually I had to get rid of the car with a loss of over £5,000. Avoid if you want to keep your sanity!
What a complete and utter farce from start to finish. I purchased a 63 plate insignia Elite from Drayton the end April 2018, by the end of September I'd part exchanged the car at another dealership.....yes that right, even though I had 1 whole month left on my pointless warranty I part exchanged the car. I loved the car when I brought it, and paid £7500 for the pleasure, however after having issues with the cars DPF after a month, I did start to question the purchase. The car was taken in to Drayton on 4 four separate occasions to be fixed because it was bellowing smoke everywhere. Evertime i puller up at traffic lights it was like ,Stars in their eyes' Drayton on each occasion took the car in and confessed to sorting the issue.....now call me cynical, but I think Dryton were happy to put a plaster over the issue until the warranty had expired. It's either that, or the mechanics haven't got a clue what they're doing, it could be either. No paperwork was EVER provided for the 'work' That had been carried out.... When I picked the car up after purchase it had already had a 'full-service' in spite of that, I found myself taking the car back in to have the aircon recharged after just 2 weeks, I'd also requested the log book on 4/5 occasions....it appears that Drayton had sent the log book to my old address, despite me providing them with alternative details. I last spoke to the service manager the start of September who advised he would sort it.....when I part exchanged my car the end of September it has still not been done. In short, if you buy a used car from Drayton I hope your car doesn't experience any issues in the first 6 months because the warranty is useless...they don't want to do the work...FACT.
Let me 1st thank the guys at Drayton for putting up with me. I bought a used car back in October.had some issues with it but the garage had the car repaired for me at a very large expense.got the car back just before Xmas and again had issues with it.contacted Matt who got the car sorted for me.i was not happy with the car so they have changed the car for me and fingers crossed no problems.i would like to thank Matt as he had to deal with me on the phone day in day out.you have the patience of a saint mate.
