Mike and the Drain Doctor team replaced our septic tank last week, and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. They did a fantastic job in really difficult weather conditions. We had rain most days but they were still very professional and friendly despite being soaked and covered in mud! The price was mid-range but the service and workmanship was top-end, so overall it was really great value and I am really pleased that we chose to use DD. There is a lot of disruption involved in a project like this, so having someone like Mike to project manage is a great help. Much appreciated!
Drains had flooded due to extensive build up so called in the evening and spoke to Caroline who was very friendly and arranged for an engineer to visit the next day. Helen also very friendly called me in the morning with an ETA of the engineers arrival. Brad arrived on time, completed the visit with no fuss, was super helpful and explained the work that needed doing and cost. Couldn’t fault this service at all - great work all round and really pleased. Will use Drain Doctor for any future work needed. Thank you again team :
My mum had a blocked loo and rang this company in the evening who said they could come out straight away or first thing in the morning. Jake duly turned up on time in the morning and was very friendly, professional, polite and fully explained what he would be doing and the cost involved. We cannot fault Jake in any way and I do like to find faults! He fixed the problem with no fuss and we are very grateful to this charming man. I think we could have found a firm slightly cheaper but the quality spoke for itself and so was worth it. Please pass on our thanks to Jake, as he was a credit to your company. Oh, and he also told my mum she'd left her car window open in the pouring rain too!
We cannot recommend this company enough in our time of need...a blocked loo and blocked drain on a Sunday afternoon is no fun and after trying the BIG company, we called these in desperation...from the very professional and friendly phone call with Nicola to the fast visit from Jake??? We were sorted all within an hour...Excellent all round service, thank you so much!
Could not rate these guys enough! Helen and Kate I think in the office were professional, friendly and kept me updated at all times, even pushed our job through as a priority. Bradley the technician was a legend and did not give up until the problem was fixed and even found a drain we had no idea we had. He worked so hard and exhausted all options before having to go for the most invasive option. He was polite, friendly, explained everything he was doing and tidied up after himself. These guys were the third company we had out as the other two couldn't help and offered no solution and after 3 days of no toilet or bathroom facilities, I didn't know where to turn. I hope I never need to call them out again, but I wouldn't hesitate if I needed too. I think really good value for money as ended up being harder to fix than planned. Couldn't speak highly enough, thank you to you all!!
Brilliant service on a Sunday when all other companies said no. Mark came out within an hour on a free call out. He had a well-equipped van and quoted us to resolve our issue immediately. We moved into our new house, to find that the complete upstairs water system wouldn't drain away. Drain Doctor was very responsive, sending out a response guy same day Saturday. This was a troublesome job, at one point we thought the drain had collapsed under the house, which would've meant excavation. Mark didn't give up, he tried and tried to push through the collapse or blockage. His efforts eventually worked and pipe was clear. He returned the next day to put a camera through, confirming that it wasn't a collapse after all, if he had given up, we would've excavated at great cost and inconvenience. Great service, great guy. Would definitely use Drain Doctor again.
Telephoned Drain Doctor on Bank Holiday due to a blocked toilet which another plumber was unable to fix. The query was dealt with professionally and I was told someone would be with me that afternoon. I was given a call half an hour before to say he was on his way. The engineer was professional, friendly and told me exactly what the problem was and the action to be taken. All sorted and now working. I am a widow with a daughter and so stuff like this makes me anxious. Thank you definitely recommend.
I had a very interesting experience today with Drain Doctor Redditch. Contacted them last week to check possible high pressure in my taps. The service offered included a free call out and assessment and then proceed with repair if decided on the day. This is what is advertised as well on the website. The technician attended this morning and asked if I have been informed about the price. I said that my understanding was that the call out was free. He said that this is usually the case but in this occasion the office has a charge of around £90 for the job. He also kindly called the office and clarified this. I have explained that in this case I was not happy to go ahead. I have called the office and spoke with the person in charge same one that discussed the booking. His point of view is that they kept their end of the deal. The callout was free and that the charge is for the use of the expertise and sophisticated equipment. I can understand the second part, but it should have been explicitly explained during the booking that this company defines “call out” as coming over, park in the driveway and have a friendly chat. To most people this is defined as a social visit. Reply to response by the company It is encouraging that time was taken to read my review and reply. However I am afraid your response is inaccurate if not a deliberate lie. Your senior technician attended as described in my review. However we only had a chat. He never measured the pressure. He asked for the price you have mentioned in order to measure the pressure and proceed with any other assessment necessary. This was not what was discussed with me over the phone during the booking. Therefore I stand by my review that the company did not deliver what was agreed with me over the phone and that the advertised free call out was just a visit and friendly chat.
I commissioned drain doctor to carry out a drain survey before I bought a property where the drains were not running correctly. Unfortunately they couldn't carry out the survey because there wasn't the access. From the initial inspection they were able to establish that they could carry out a jet clean. Drains cleaned and tested for the current owner. Drain doctors emailed and called me, the communication was outstanding. Wouldn't hesitate to use our recommend these guys. Great service
