Came here today. Food wasn’t very nice. Soup was bland. In fact majority of the food was bland. Very disappointed. Food was also cold. Not much variety of food, I had banana fritters for dessert and it was cold. Really disappointed in this restaurant as has great reviews from family. Even said family member said it was awful today. Won’t be rushing back.
Foods good. Staff need to be friendlier. Everyone looks so miserable, i couldnt get one smile out of anyone them and im a fun guy, unless they have bad teeth then please dont smile and ignore this comment.
Large place plenty of seats with a good selection of food. All labeled to tell you what they are. Plenty of parking as your next to the cinema and a harvester pub also. Disabled parking also and disabled friend place. Food always hot, great buffet very tasty and you can go up as much as you like. Only down side I found was a lack of choice with the dessert. I found it a little bland many would love the huge chocolate fountain with marshmallow fruit , jelly but sadly not my taste. Staff are very helpful pleasant and constantly clearing empty plates and refilling your glasses. Toilets were clean plenty of them but wow they were cold. Will return and would recommend and the buffet fee was £13 bargain.
We went for a meal prior to seeing a film. The atmosphere in this restaurant is non existent. The food was tepid, unpleasant and extremely basic. The lemon chicken I had to spit out, it was so bitter. The beef in green pepper had grey meat that looked like old leather and tasted awful. The pancakes with the duck were like thinnest paper and couldn’t hold the duck meat. We felt it had probably all been reheated from lunchtime. I can’t believe people go there more than once. Never again for us.
Worst Chinese buffet I have ever had. Poor choice for a Sunday lunch time and dreadful quality. Rice was under heaters for so long it was rock hard, everything swiming with grease. We attempted one plate then had to leave. Went to Harvester across the road and had a jacket spud and salad. That was a million times better!!! We did comment but still made us pay full price. Was not very well afterwards. Would definitely not recommend. Would give it no stars if I could
Extremely quiet on a Friday evening. Although limited options, food quality is excellent. Friendly staff too. Good, all you can eat Chinese buffet for the £12.90 ticket! Definitely will be back...
If you just look at the price for what you get it is worth 5 stars. Go at the start of service and food is fresh hot and good. Towards the end the quality does drop and although staff are great they can not keep up with the turn over of food. Quality is not the greatest but that is reflected in the price. Would recommend and the lunch time buffet is better value.
Firstly I had to pay for an adults meal for my 10 year old daughter as she was taller than 135cm yet my friend who's daughter is slightly shorter but the same age paid for a child's meal even though they ate the same amount so this is unfair. The atmosphere was non existent and the food was horrible. It looked like it had been on the buffet all day and was ready for the bin. Then to add insult to injury they tried to charge us £20 more on the bill because the staff don't know how to add up. A very unpleasant experience had by all and we won't be coming back or recommending the place to anyone anytime soon. We all felt sick in the car on the way home. I think they could do with a visit from the food standards agency
Cheap all you can eat lunch buffet,with a decent selection of Chinese and English food. Clean and tidy. Staff clear the dirty plates quickly. You can have a free glass of water. Food Standards agency rated 5. Worth giving a try.
A very clean friendly Chinese buffet at a reasonable price for a weekday. All the food we had was very well cooked and very nice, my only gripe would be that they were a bit slow in replenishing the empty dishes. We have been a few times before and would most definitely not hesitate in returning.
