I've never shopped here before, but found the game I was after at a better price here than anywhere else. So, without looking at any reviews, I thought I'd give them a go. I'm very glad I did! These guys are genuinely lovely. There was an issue with shipping, they sorted it without hesitation, making absolutely certain they got the game to me on time, which was especially important to me as it was a birthday gift for my daughter. I might have just as easily overlooked this online shop in favour of the larger retailers, but I'm very glad I didn't, and will be coming here FIRST for anything else in future. Top work my friend, keep it up! I will be back.
I was searching for tabletop wargaming stores near me and this was one of the places that popped up. Paid it a visit this morning and was very impressed with the whole setup. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, and as I am new to the hobby, he gave me lots of useful advise on how to get started. In additional to the full range of warhammer games and accessories, the store has a fantastic assortment of other board games to suit all tastes. They also have a number of gaming tables that you can hire, and hold regular events that are open to all. I highly recommend this place to anyone interested in wargaming or board games in general. I will certainly be heading back there very soon
I was very impressed with Dragon Cavern.nnThere was an impressive amount of stock available for all manner of games, all sold at reasonable prices.nnThe owner was very welcoming and friendly. Chatting amiably to our group as we hired a table for the day. He would regularly come round and check how we were, if we needed anything, and to see how our game was going. You can clearly tell he is passionate about gaming and wants his customers to feel welcome.nnHaving looked more on the stores social media page and website, it is clear that the store is doing everything to meet the gaming needs of the local community. Regular events, games evenings, etc, make up a busy schedule but offer plenty for people to do.nnWe rented a table for the day for a very reasonable price and I will definitely be returning to this store.
I have been a couple of times here and the owner is such a nice and helpful person, he will do anything to help you with anything you might need and makes the atmosphere in his store very relaxed and welcoming. If you are local to this store please pop in and support him and his shop, he deserves it and I'll definitely be returning and thanks again for sorting me out with with Pokémon cards.
Yknow I don't often leave reviews of places when I order online, but I gotta say I appreciate the personal touch here! Delivery time was good, and it was well packaged. I only used Dragon Cavern initially because they were the only place with this product left in stock, but I would be happy to shop there again!
