I would like to comment on the efficiency and politeness of the reception staff who are clearly well trained and patient orientated. The Doctors, although clearly under intense pressure are extremely competent and are able to deal with issues quickly and efficiently resulting in positive outlooks at the earliest opportunity. I am lucky to be on the patients list for this surgery. Helen Thornhill
Please do something about the receptionist. I needed an appointment so I called the surgery, I assume this gentleman is new at the surgery as I didn’t recognised his name or voice, but clearly doesn’t know what he’s doing but most importantly he doesn’t how to talk to the patients. He sound very bored and arrogant. We all have bad days but that shouldn’t reflect on our work especially when someone is working with people! Hire someone compassionate with empathy, like that lovely lady you had a week ago.
About 2-3 weeks ago I rang through for an appointment for my son who needed medical attention but the male receptionist decided that he could take on the role of the doctor and wouldn't give my son an appointment, not even a phone appointment. This is unacceptable. He told me to tell my son to drink hot water and look after himself. Please educate the receptionist on his role at the surgery.

Just an update to confirm that moving to the High Road Surgery has been a brilliant decision. We have recently been assisted by Barbara in Reception. She was extremely courteous and helpful - Thank You. My wife and I changed to the High Road Surgery about 2 years ago after years of indifferent service at our previous surgery, The helpful service we've received at the High Road Surgery has been such a welcome change. Not just from the doctors but from all the staff - Thank You so much. This is how a doctor's surgery should be - speedy appointments and helpful consultations.

Upon my arrival I was greeted with such genuine kindness. Linda who asked how I was, has always showen complete care towards patients. Linda is extremely professional and helpful and this reflects on her staff. This is the kind of setting in this surgery that acknowledges a patient by nace entering,without the chitter, chatter. Linda, along with zal has a professional approach, both certainly knows their work. A few weeks a ago I had spoken to a staff who ended the call with such care, this really shows how professional the team is. This salutations of greeting and support does in fact make such a difference to patients, and when seeing a GP you become much more focus on delivering the health symptons.
I would just like to say what a fantastic service you are providing at such a difficult time. Its wonderful how well you are working together and it shows in how organised you are. The young lady greeting people and showing us where to go was very personable and welcoming. The receptionist was friendly and the Dr was as always professional, friendly and on the ball - reminding me of an appointment I need to make. I know this has been a tough year, but you're doing really well and adapting to such strange times. Thank you and well done to all your team!
I've been with this surgery for a number of years and continue to be impressed by the service, care and professionalism of everyone on their team. I am always able to speak to a doctor promptly and the reception and support staff are always efficient and compassionate. I would recommend them to anyone seeking a GP
My family and I are lifelong patients of this excellent practice. The staff are wonderful, from the hardworking, efficient and friendly reception team to the outstanding doctors and nurses. Appointments are same day with a fast, efficient response service. The practice manager Zal, is professional with a warm, kind and helpful manner as she strives to ensure the needs of the patients are met so they feel cared for, attended to and at ease. Our GP Dr Wijeyekoon is an exceptional doctor whom always goes above and beyond for the care of his patients. His clinical expertise, dedication and  compassion is exemplary.  His qualities and integrity as a doctor and, more fundamentally, as a person, shine through. During these extraordinarily difficult times of the pandemic when services are under enormous stress and strain the high standards provided by the High road surgery have not wavered, rather, they have become even higher. I extend a heartfelt thank you to you all for all  that you do for my family and I, we are very fortunate to be a part of such a remarkable practice.
