The receptionists, staff, and pharmacy team are consistently excellent, professional, kind, and genuinely helpful. Unfortunately, this level of care doesn’t seem to extend to some of the GPs.nnDuring my appointment, I felt as though I was being rushed through a conveyor‑belt system. The doctor appeared disengaged, as if my presence was an inconvenience, despite the fact that they were the ones who asked me to come in to discuss my results. I was even asked why I was there, and had to point out that I’d been called in.nnIt was clear the GP wasn’t familiar with my medical history and didn’t seem particularly interested in understanding it. The whole appointment felt like a waste of time and could easily have been handled over the phone.nI know their busy but being a little attentive in your job role with a patient would be appreciated.
This surgery is getting worse with receptionistsnIam Asthmatic and cannot plann for an attacknRang at 1 min to 8 this morning still on 111. Rang back 2 min past 8am waited for 34mins before I was answered and then was told all appointments had gone. I did complain given my condition and was told to go to hospital. My circumstances makes it hard to just drop everything to go to hospital. Then I was asked if I could go to A pharmacistnNo I can't. I was offered and given an appointment for tomorrow mid morning. This is not good enough and it's not just me.nThe way I was sp0ken to was disgusting. No care, no empathy and certainly not helpful.
I was told by tge receptionist that my biopsy results were all clear , the same day I saw a doctor to discuss my symptoms, again nothing about my biopsy results , just made out I must have ibs, and wanted to give me treatment for ibs. Yesterday a letter came in post with my biopsy results , I have microscopic colitis!
I had been having the same issue. Rudeness and they think they have horns. The only thing is report them to council and write your grievence to INTERGRATED CARE BOARD. u can google up. Never ever give up.. Thumbs UP!
Normally unable to get an appointment ended up having to go to A&E twice and not all receptionists as helpful as they could be others do try! Dr's way understaffed just always on holiday or sicknBeen with them over 40 years just got worse each decade as my health has needed them more.nSadly they are no longer there for me when I need them.
