There is a 2/3 week wait to see one of the good doctors, they are always fully booked up for weeks. But Dr O is always available- I try to avoid his appointments because he always say there’s nothing wrong or it’s probably nothing go home and rest.nHe told me my condition was nothing, for a long time he said my Condition was probably stress or it was in my head and that I just had ibs and dismissed my constant pain - it turned out I needed major surgery and it was only when I couldn’t take the pain anymore and involved the hospital that I actually found out what was wrong after being sent for scans the doctors at the hospital said I should of been sent for a scan a long time ago. it wasn’t nothing, it was definitely something.nAlso, a few weeks ago I went with my daughter to the same Dr O, she’s been having terrible ongoing stomach problems, had pain and being sick… he was the only doctor available again and guess what he said my daughters issue was? “Probably nothing” again… that fact that she’s was clearly in discomfort didn’t seem to count because it’s probably nothing more n his eyes.nPersonally I try to avoid seeing this doctor at all costs, he’s not very good and I find him rude and uncaring. He try’s to get you out his office as fast as possible and dismisses genuine concerns you may have about your health. The other doctors seem good and listen, and actually try and help.
20 mins and counting on position 1-.nLooking at previous reviews-shouldn’t this be sorted?? The lady said she was on her own -why don’t they have help-I’m sure there very busynSo I’d give 1 star for thatnBut as far as getting an appointment once through I did and was seen quickly by doctor Fraser-who made sure I had an appointment with the hospital. So absolutely 5 stars for thatnVery professional empathetic and gave me the time to explain-and listened.nIn the passed I have seen the practice nurse-fantasticnSo I honestly think if the reception staff had maybe a bit more help for appointment’s-I think it would be great
I met with Terri a nurse and she spent time talking to me and helping answer my questions. I thought Terri was excellent and very helpful and supportive. This nurse is such an asset to Trent View and could not have done more to help it was lovely not being rushed, thank you.
I went for an appointment at 10:30am 13th April. The doctor i had seemed like a nice person and he was very genuine. However he made sly comments about my arms and my weight. He said that so many children my age self harm and it is going to do nothing apart from leave ugly scars. Also to mention that when he weighed me he said i’m underweight and i need to eat something. He never questioned whether i have a fast metabolism or something or if i struggle with an eating disorder, which i find quite unprofessional, especially coming from a doctor who is meant to be well experienced. It isn’t difficult to have some respect especially for teenagers who quite obviously struggle with mental illnesses.
The reception staff are nothing more than incompetent.nSummary: after 10 days of isolation, having tested positive covid 19, my symtoms still as bad as ever so I rang the surgery to await my usual 24 minutes before speaking with a human. I explained that I was beyond my isolation period and would require a sick note.....Here comes standard answer number one.........You will have to ring back at 8am monday and request a sick note then.nMonday 8am ringing for 55 mins and no reply....rang again at 9.20 to get the standard 25 minutes before speaking to a human again....This time I was told to ring back after 5pm to give the receptionist time to speak with the doctor.nmonday at 14.30 hours my phone rings once from a no caller ID number...I answer and they hang up....Monday at 14.40 I get a text saying if I need an isolation note then please visit www.nhs.nI ring the surgery and am very rudely told that doctor tried to ring and got no answer so I would have to start all over again and ring Tuesday morning at 8am......Now I would bet that at 8am I will be ringing for a minimum of 45 minutes then when I finally speak to a human again then I will be told its too late for a consultation..........Its about time that these little phone answerers learned that with us unfortunate poorly people they would have no job.........Crowle practice has shown itself to be nothing more than book passers and the receptionists who think they are doctors need to try get a real jobnAdditions to the above are prescriptions not being issued, prescriptions being wrong and misdiagnosis.nI trust my dogs vet more than these clowns.nWhat’s more is they don’t care.
