Welcome to the Downs Lawn Tennis Club Facebook page. Whether you are a seasoned player, or have never played a game before, we hope that you’ll find we have something for you.
Facilities:
The Club has four all weather courts, three of which are floodlit.
We welcome junior members, and have junior coaching sessions run by qualified MDL coaches http://www.mdlcoaching.com/ on Saturday mornings, Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays after school. We also run Tennis camps for children during school holidays.
Bar:
The club has a fully licensed bar which is open every evening of the week as well as Saturday and Sunday from midday selling, beers, spirits and wines at club prices. “Happy Hour” on Friday and Saturday evenings from 7:30 – 9:00 P.M. offers tremendous value.
The bar has a cosy, friendly atmosphere and with Sky Sports for those important sporting events.
Our social facilities are open to both playing and non-playing (social) members.
