Lovely food, decent sized portions. However, when ordering one person takes your order, and passes it onto the next. I have been to this fish shop twice now, and this system caused slight confusion as to what i had actually ordered. Otherwise great service.

Downeys is a fantastic Fish and chipper. Small cod and chips is always my go to, and always top notch. Queues do down pretty quickly. Its not a long wait but it is worth the wait.

Popular seaside fish & chip restaurant. Takeaway only just now. Reasonable quality food. Good value,  friendly staff. I had a battered sausage ooer which was a bit greasy but the chips were fine. Obviously very popular as there was a long queue,  and plenty of competition from other outlets nearby.

Well what can I say... Ordered over phone very warm phone manor... Walked in ten minutes later order ready  2 medium size 1 large chips... Amazing.... Keep up the good service

Always call there when we take dogs for walk on beach. Beautiful everything.  Just seen the one star review ,no idea why that was there . Apologies.
