Really nice fish and chips. The staff are really polite. There milkshakes are the best tooFood: 5/5
Fish is ok. Decent portion size, but nothing to write home about. The real disappointment for me was the chips - pale, mushy, undercooked. A proper let-down. As this establishment fails to deliver on a fundamental basic, I cannot recommend it. And even though it's my closest fish and chip shop, I won't be returning.
First time here and was not disappointed!! Fair prices, great service and great portions & food. Ordered large cod and chips, kids nuggets meal, chicken burger and 2 battered sausages everything was so fresh. Not a bad thing to say about any part of the order. Would recommend!!!!
This shop make their own chips from scratch, which makes a great difference.Friendly team.I highly recommend
Sausage in batter and small chips, surely got to be nice and easy. It was terrible, Appalling anemic dry chips.. must of just been sitting there in the shop just curling up. Most awful sausage in batter. Soggy batter and the sausage tasted flipping awful, definitely sat in the oven for far too long and probably re-heated. First time at this place, definitely wont be going back. No ‘off day’ excuses as this is a chip shop and the menu isn’t that extensive so they should get the basics right all the time, especially the chips!!!
very good cod, but love their chips most. The portion of a regular Cod is massive! Definitely moneys worth. Will be revisiting
Avoid. Food is awful undercooked pasty chips. Sausage tastes like tesco basic. Savaloy was ok. The best thing was throwing it in the bin to be honest
First time I came fish and chips were good. Came this evening and horrendous! Fish batter was like rubber not crispy at all chips soggy, sons burger bun hard, nuggets ok. They must bulk cook them leave all day under hot plate or reheat as evening food terrible but day time is ok.
Amazing service. Massive OAP portion.for £5.50 We ordered 11 OAP meals . All fresh and hot Definitely going back there . This is now our new chip shop for our monthly chipshop day Our residents were extremely happy and complimented the good food
Have been going here for 2 years but have found in the last few months it has been going down hill. Went 3 Saturdays ago and the Fish and Chips were in-edible, the Chips were hard and shrivelled like they were 2 days old and re- heated, the Fish was hard and dry as if it were as old as the Chips. It's a shame as was really nice at first. I will not be going back.
