Very pretty area with some stunning geological features. Surprisingly accessible too - parking at Thorpe is very reasonable (£3 all day) and there are toilet and cafe facilities there too. From there the trails are wide and smooth all the way along the valley although there are occasional steps and gates.

Absolutely beautiful place, great for novice hikers. Only advice I would give is to ensure you have the correct footwear and wrap up wear during the colder and wetter seasons. Car park available for £3 a day so pretty reasonable.

This is a beautiful area with many options for walking, either on the flat along the valley or up some of the lovely hills. As a location it would be five stars but it's let down by the car park and facilities... I'm more than happy to pay for parking in areas like this but think they're taking it too far by having a charge for going to the toilet. There are no other facilities here other than toilets and a gravel car park, when you have a family of four that need the toilet it's excessive when you've just paid parking. Sadly this means a three star overall.

Great short walks in the woods, perfect any time of year! The parking is cheap given how popular the place is, and it is surrounded by tons of amazing little villages And pubs! The Rock climbing is amazing also, both plenty of high E grades and easier ~VS level.

Beautiful place. However, very high water in Feb so cannot cross stones. You can walk over the bridge but need walking boots and a good grip for opposite bank. Car park expensive and will only take correct change.
