£9.50 for a timed visit. Up to 6 people in group. You have a 10 minute film in old stable, a 5 min talk on road outside and then a free 20 mins or so to look round cottage and garden with guide available for questions.  quaint cottage, gorgeous gardens and interesting history but only lasted 30 mins so maybe a little pricey

This is run exceptionally well by people who genuinely care about what they do. Fantastic homemade cakes in the cafe, and excellent tour guides with detailed knowledge of the family history. Highly recommended.

Don’t forget that it’s his birthplace. Actual residence is at Dove Cottage and so is the museum. I was mistaken and lost valuable hours but good place guys even if you’re not in to literature. Wordsworth was a great person and left a big name in history and literature.

A  very beautiful village with a great medium effort walk. You could see the surrounding countryside from the path leading up from behind the Wordsworth House. Winter best time to visit. The crowds are less.

Fascinating place! Loved how the cottage has been kept just as it would have been in the Wordsworths' day. Every detail preserved including their original furniture!

Had the best experience at Dove Cottage. Well organised. Guide was lovely and had all the knowledge needed. Brilliant.
