We are a traditional family run butchers

Story

We are a family run butchers who pride ourself on producing top quality products, at a competitive price.
We produce our own beef , lamb and Christmas turkeys on our own farm just three miles away.
All other meats and products sourced as local as possible.
We produce our own burgers, sausages & gluten free products on premises.
We stock cockburns black pudding, white pudding and haggis,
Stuart Grants & Stornoway Blackpuddings
We stock a range of steak pies and mince pie from a local producer,

Stopped for some sausage bacon and a massive steak on our NC500 trip. Just had the steak on our BBQ pit and it’s BLOWN OUR MIND better than any restaurant, tonnes of it so we have sandwiches for climbing Ben Loyal tomorrow. Definitely stock up here if you’re passing
We have been using the butchers for years and buy all our meat from Dornoch butchers as it is guaranteed excellent quality. The pork chops are sensational as well as the steaks. For a steaw or steak pie the stewing beef is top quality and as for the lamb, well you will never think of going anywhere else after tasting their lamb. We have recommended Dornoch butchers to all our friends and family who now recommended the butchers to their friends and family which says it all.
We have taken home vacuum packed steaks, lamb chops, pork chops, steak stewing meat/ mince, and beef joints for 15 years. We normally buy 3-6 months worth of meat for freezing The quality of the meat is second to none that I have ever tasted. I would , and indeed have, recommended the Butcher to friends and other holidaymakers I have met.
On holiday in Dornoch and had to review this butcher. Quality of meat is second to none. Had the sliced haggis which was the best I've tasted. The pork sausages were delicious and not an ounce of fat was in the frying pan, the meatiest I've ever tasted. No need to dine out every night when you have a butcher this good.
Found this butchers while on holiday, it's the best meat we've had in ages. Excellent steak sausages and burgers. Wish we'd bought more.
