BRILLIANT SERVICE AND HIGH QUALITY PACKAGING I have been using Dormex since I started my organic skin care business many years ago and they have been fantastic by providing low prices for their quality packaging. This in turn help my business to grow massively. They are extremely accommodating to new starters and small independent businesses like mine despite being a multi-million pounds business. Nothing is too much trouble for them like getting my order ready within an hour!!!! This had happened many times because I needed the packaging for bottling. Honestly I cannot thank Dormex enough for their help and support for my business. Most of all, they are genuinely nice people and I always pop by to drop a Christmas present to them as they are only 10 minutes away from my Headquarters. Really local so great in reducing environmental football because my company is very committed in being eco friendly. I do use a couple of other packaging suppliers and they are a lot more expensive than Dormex. This is not by choice but merely that Dormex don't have these packaging available. I can proudly say that Dormex is my no.1 packaging supplier! I attached here two photos of my top sellers, Elixir and Rich face cream, both packaging are from Dormex. Don;t they look stunning!
Fantastic company and has been my main container supplier for years. Sometimes they can take a couple of weeks or so to arrive but I don't usually mind when I needed it sooner, I emailed them and they had it there for me the next day, incredible team. Thank you for all of your help and fantastic service.
They used to be Really good pre-covid but this year sadly their customer service has been atrocious. Paid for an order in late September 2022 for an order due in November, in early October I chased it and was told they didn't have the stock they'd be in stock again in early November. I called early November, "sorry they haven't arrived yet we'll send you a refund". Called December to chase refund and was advised I'd receive a refund but the person who does them wasn't in but it'll be done Monday... Monday came still no refund. Called again advised the same... still no refund. Called every week this year and still no refund came. Finally 1st week of March the items arrive out of the blue, no notification, no sorry, nothing. Also, another time I really needed 400 units of a particular bottle as I had an 800 unit order to fulfil so I call to check stock and was told they have 400 units in stock with 30,000 more arriving soon. I and place an order for 5000 as they never respond to emails and was advised I'd receive 400 then the balance when they landed. The following day I get an email miraculously they don't have 400 in stock after all and they only have 15,000 on order which are still 8-12 weeks away. Plus the absolute joke of £5.50 for a single cap to be delivered on their Cascelloid website! They may be cheap and sell small volumes to smaller businesses but you get what you pay for. Much better service at Ampulla.
I've been using this company for nearly 20 years for cosmetic jars. They're always really friendly and helpful and their products are excellently priced. They'll do small or large quantities and are always willing to send samples. I see there are some poor reviews on here over the last couple of years from frustrated customers. I suggest the explanation for poorer service is that they were massively overwhelmed during Covid to keep up supply of containers for antiviral products. Staff were working really long hours to try to keep up with demand during the pandemic. We continued to order all the way through and although delivery did take longer, it was entirely understandable because of the difficult circumstances.
Initial order did not arrive. Debbie at Dormex ignored requests for help to track it down. We paid for a second order which arrived but no invoice, no receipt, no dispatch notification and again no response to contact. Final order made to tide our company over but again no invoice, no receipt and no dispatch notification. Exceptionally difficult to do business with, and could not find another U.K. supplier for the lines needed. We now prefer to order from China and accept the longer lead times and additional import paperwork.
BEWARE! I ordered 100 pump dispensers on 10th June. Gave my card details. No delivery so chased on the 30th of June and was told my order has not been put through yet they were holding onto my card details, nice!. A few days later they arrive damaged, whoever packed them just decided to throw them loose into a bag, without their protective covering. Emailed photos of the damage across, as advised to, and chased my 'replacement' every few days for the last 1 month. Promised callbacks numerous times, given 'guaranteed' delivery dates, even got an email from the director himself 2 weeks back admitting fault and that they will be replaced, yet still nothing. Even better they have stopped replying to my emails. Every call if you can get through is answered with more false promises and there comes a point where you just can't tolerate any more of being lied to. Fobbing customers off is NOT customer service, and frankly I don't know how people with such shocking customer service skills even manage to hold down a job when there's so many people out there looking for work, who can comprehend the meaning of and deliver: actual 'customer service'. I now have to file for a chargeback from my bank so that we can order these from elsewhere. If this is how they can treat a loyal customer of 7 years, then I dread to think how it would be for a first time customer...
One of the absolute worse companies to deal with. After more than 200 emails, they still manged to mess up my order by sending the wrong amount of bottles and non of the tops were cut to size. I even spoke to the MD of the company to complain about their shoddy customer service only to receive the wrong items. I spent months emailing and ringing. I then went to Ampulla and within a few minutes managed to order and receive within a week. This company has no interest in offering good customer service. I paid a little bit more for my bottles but it was worth the better service. Avoid like the plague
2.5 overall Google review rating ! Need I say more ? This company recently showcased their 25 year anniversary , really ? If this company can actively make profit for 25 years there is hope for us all ! They rarely acknowledge emails or answer the phone. Communication with ‘paying’ customers seems a real struggle. If they do communicate it’s generally rude & abrupt. We’ve had orders shipped to incorrect addresses. Oh, it’s been constant fun & games with Dormex ! It has been a struggle to find a new UK supplier that can meet our requirements, so we’ve had to bite our tongue with Dormex. Their so called ‘customer support chap’ would be fired after the first day at our place ! I’d advise management monitor his inbox for a week. Rude. Abrupt. Can’t be bothered attitude ! Anyone thinking of using this company, don’t bother. We have secured a much better supplier. Granted you have to order in bulk but packaging is much better quality, unit prices have been halved and they communicate , oh how refreshing ! Good riddance Dormex !
The procedure of this company is an absolute insolence! I have been waiting for samples for several months now. Allegedly, the first two shipments have been lost. I can no longer reach my contact person at the time. They do not respond to e-mails. Absolutely unprofessional. Thank you very much for wasting my time!
The absolute WORST supplier I've ever worked with. Takes them weeks to dispatch items, you call in and they promise it will be dispatched next day and it never is after taking your money. Had a separate project with them and they messed us around for TWO MONTHS eventually had to cancel it but they had wasted so much precious valuable time. Thankfully we've found new suppliers now - if your time is valuable, stay away from these people, they'll surely waste it and your money too. If I could give minus stars I would!
