Lovely venue with a good mix of old fashioned and modern areas. Drinks not great...watery tea and coffee...but comfy venue. Main auditorium is impressive and I have attended many events here over the ladt 40 years. Compact cinema too...v good value!

Really enjoying using Dorking Halls cinema especially the Saturday morning kids showings where tickets are only £4.50 each and it's usually a newly released movie. The on site bar/coffee lounge offers a good range of food and drinks as well as sweets and popcorn for the kids. The cinemas may not be of the same standard you'd find in a mainstream cinema but they are fairly large and comfy. If you join their friends membership you receive discounts on tickets for films and shows and in the bar too plus (when I joined) you receive 4 free tickets and it's not expensive to join, you certainly make back the membership fee in the discounts if you visit regularly. It is a good family friendly theatre and I thinks it's essential to support local theatres like this as they really make a difference to the community they serve.

I go to Dorking Halls regularly for Leroc (modern jive dancing) on a Tuesday and have been to other events too. In the evening parking is free - there are large car parks behind and on the opposite side of the road. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The toilets and bar area have just been refurbished and are good, although I miss the water fountain.

Attended a W.I. meeting at Dorking Halls. As usual staff worked hard to make the event run smooth. One small criticism, the management were aware of the numbers involved, but only had 2 staff working behind the cafe counter during the lunchtime. Queues were enormous.

The waiting room for the shows were very good, with views outside. The bar had quite a bit of food, but not amazing food. The chairs inside were basic chairs, but the equipment they use are very good and the stage is very large with good viewing angles throughout all the chairs.
