Good local venue - we went to a comedy night. Got a space in the car park - free after 6pm. Downstairs bar area gets v crowded, might be worth trying the upstairs bar. Don't be dispirited by the queue for the ladies loo at the interval. There are plenty of cubicles and queue moves quickly. My friends tell me the ice cream is good here too!
Love Dorking Halls. We go to the Christmas panto every year very enjoyable. Ive also been to a few other events here and never let's you down acoustic are great and lighting to so makes it all much more enjoyable.
Was volunteering at the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival which was being hosted at Dorking Hall. Super event at a super venue. Car park was a little busy, so give yourself plenty of time if attending an event there.nIt was well staffed and well run.
Lovely slightly dated but charming venue. Very helpful staff, good acoustics. I understand it is shutting for a refurb in 2026 so look forward to seeing it when updated.
Wonderful historic home of Rudyard Kipling and very knowledgeable friendly staff. Smaller estate than sim Trusts but lovely to walk around. Groundsman do a lovely job of keeping it like the family home it was, very simple planting. Tea rooms are dog friendly but beware of the pesky wasps in the back garden!
