We purchased two composite Door Stop Doors. After 5 years one of the doors has badly faded in colour, it's not in full sunlight. These doors are very poor quality. The hinges can not be altered properly for a good fit. Parts have come loose or fallen off. The trim around the windows, seal from the bottom of the door. I would definitely not recommend these doors at all. I have emailed door stop and had no response.

BUYER BEWARE!! This composite door was fitted in 2016. Surface finish has blistered severely. When we purchased it was told it had a 10 year guarantee. Contacted Door Stop customer services and was told this colour only had a 5 year warranty. They were not interested and were not prepared to do any form of repair. This was an expensive door and expected it to last more than 6 years.
Avoid at all costs! 2 year old composite door has peeled all over. After numerous emails to them they have sent one back, indicating no intention to remediate the poor quality door. All we are requesting is for it to be painted so that it doesn’t bubble and peel again in the future. I’d have given zero stars if I could.
used to use this company have ordered about 60 doors in the period i fitted there doors. in the past any issues were dealt with promptly. i have a on going problem with the rubber gasket underneath the door they keep perishing, have sent 4 emails no response even sent 2 Ds numbers, eventually got through to someone and all they did was put me on hold for 10 mins then nothing. i just need some replacement rubber gasket for my customers very poor after sales service. Avoid this company. I changed supplier 4 years ago and i now fit the best composites on the market, so fr this year i have just ordered number 76 you lose door stop.,
We have been using and fitting doorstop doors for many years now and yes occasionally doors do have issues further down the line,but doorstops customer service is excellent.Unlike some manufacturers who we have dealt with who wash there hands of the product once they have been paid doorstop are efficient in supplying the parts to rectify the issues.Things can go wrong with any product in life ,it is how it is dealt with that matters.
Absolutely awful. We used Doorstop for far longer than we should have. Every door we have received has had issues with it and customer service has always been terrible. We have been told multiple times that they are improving their customer service but we are yet to experience this. We have now moved all of our orders to another company. If I could give less than one star I would. These positive reviews don't seem to line up with reviews on other platforms. I would recommend checking trustpilot to get a clearer idea of how this company run.
These doors are not fit for purpose. We had a terrible experience and I would advise anyone to avoid this company.The whole experience has been very stressful.
DO NOT USE. STAY AWAY THE WORST SUPPLIER WE HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IF WE COULE GIVE 0 STARS WE WOULD Our 5th and most recent order is now nearly 4 months delayed with yet again this time after prompting the company 5 times for an update, we was told every time the only update they could give us was that the doors were left with the company’s delivery planners, and they have no idea when that could be. You then ask for a refund and they accept and then funny enough you get an email with a confirmed delivery which of course is delayed once again and they don’t even let you know. This order was paid for on 16/11/21 and now is expected somewhere in February. They blamed it on the glass not being ready, even though we are in the industry and can get the glass within 5-7 working days ourselves and would of just had the door and sourced glass ourselves but they won’t even let you know. Asked for a full refund and you’re told it takes 10 days to give a full refund and persuaded to trust them and just wait and that we’re better off waiting another 2 week. Current status we had to collect the doors ourselves from their depo in Mansfield we’re based in Greenwich, South East London and we sorted our own glass from our regular supplier who done it in 48 hours and asked for a refund for glass of Door Stop. The worst part is…. The door was ready on the 25/11/21 and the glass has been holding us up the whole time and they couldn’t after speaking 20 different people just tell us the door was ready and the glass was the hold up as we could if had this all fitted with our own glass by December. Shambolic. We have never seen anything take this long for pvc doors and toughened glass in all our years of trading and the amount of lies and excuses. You can clearly see by the rest of the company’s shocking reviews we aren’t the only ones who have said similar. As a glass supplier and installer ourselves, we’d never dream of slating someone else’s business wether a competitor or not, but this has ultimately been the worst experience with any supplier in all our years of business. Yet again, letting down our customers who have already lost faith in us at this point and would not use us again payment is up front also with door stop POSSIBLY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AFTER SALES WE HAVE EVER DEALT WITH
I feel i have to make people aware of this company. I would be very careful about paying for doors upfront when ordering. I have been fitting doorstop doors for over 10 years, to be honest there good doors for price, although since they have been taken over my opinion is this company is slowly going down hill and badly run. I have had a few small issues the last few years with there doors. I will no longer use this company as i ordered a door on 18th march payed in full for delivery 30th . They then shut because of covid so i didnt get my door delivered which is fair enough. My problem is when they did re open they where taking new orders and peoples money upfront and i was told the earliest i could have door delivered would be another months wait. I cancelled order as i new they were putting new orders in front of mine as i pretended to order new door with quicker delivery Well another 2 weeks on of calling customer services every day who just say someone will call but never do. i still have not received a refund so i am now starting a claim through my credit card company. This is an honest review of my experience with doorstop i would be very careful about giving them your money upfront. Very sad as used to be a great company. you only have to look at other reviews people leave.
