Working out of my area and needed a good feed. Called in here and the daily special sounded too good to turn down. Brilliant selection of food and lovely staff. Even had good banter with the owner. I would definitely recommend!
Visited today, was a really nice place. Does what it says on the tin. Staff were all really friendly and welcoming and I enjoyed my breakfast

Dropped brother at train station. Had a walk down for breakfast before I caught my train to Lincoln for the day
Lovely staff, they were really quick with my order cheese and tomato panini even tho it was made from scratch. The food was absolutely delicious and I was shocked the portions are large, fresh and taste amazing at such a low price. I definitely do recommend this lovely cozy for a breakfast or lunch. The space is tiny but they have outdoor seating and they open very early.
Just moved to Newark and visited this cafe whilst car was being serviced. Had great, friendly, down to earth service. Food and mug of tea was fabulous. I’m so glad places like this are still around. Makes a wonderful change from McKFC. My first choice for tea and breakfast every time.
My wife and I stopped here hoping for a quick lunch but sadly it was gone 2pm. However they offered to make us a Bacon bap £2.40 and a Sausage Bap £2.40, a Mug of Tea £1.10 and a coffee at £1.20. It was all we needed to keep us going. Venue is a traditional working man’s Cafe with Menu to match. Clean, comfortable and friendly, what more could you ask for.
