I don't mean to be petantic but the 14inch pizza is not 14 icnh, I wouldn't mind normally but when you pay £11+ its a bit of a rip. We also had to request a refund on the large kebab because it was absolutely tiny, he said it was a portion for one person so it was "fine", but absolutely not accepting a kebab which was that small for nearly £10. Anywhere else in shields would be huge for that price! And got swore at for complaining. I'd recommend ordering from Milan instead
Waited over two hours for our order, which was only a pizza and chicken kabab. We rang twice to be told it’s on its way then the third time the bloke on the phone confessed that he couldn’t find out order and it was missing. Not apologetic at all and no freebies to make up for it. I’ve been seriously ill and this was meant to be a treat as I’ve not been eating. I’m so disappointed I ordered here. Won’t ever go back. Totally spoilt my night.
Rang last night 6.20pm, waited over an hour, arrived at 7.40 chicken kebab freezing cold, and chips soggy, rang and complained said send another one out waited over an hour, still nothing complained again GT money bk driver dropped refund off, used these for a while never been disappointed till last night not using again
If I could give 0 I would. I have been a loyal customer to Donetellos for years, since I was 15, I’m 25 now. Me and my family have always ordered from here. Placed an order last weekend 7th May 2022 for two pizzas and 4 garlic dips - we love are food with garlic. Received the pizzas, but no dips, rang up and explained they’d been forgotten. Waited for nearly an hour for the dips, at which point the pizza’s were cold, to find they’d only sent us 3 dips instead of 4. Rang up and got told they would send us vouchers in the post but wouldn’t offer us a refund. To this day 14th May 2022 still haven’t received the vouchers. Rang up yesterday and was told someone ring me back, they haven’t, rang up today and was told the same thing. £30.10 is expensive for what we ordered, for it all to go to waste. This is a rare treat for us and were having a movie night to celebrate passing exams. Appalling customer services and has massively gone down hill. I’d avoid ordering from here. Were told well the pizzas were fine so why should we refund for them - because by the time I got my order the pizzas were cold!!! It all went to waste!!!
This place is terrible missed stuff on my order the staff is as usefull as a chocolate tea pot it took the over 2 hours to bring me food
Apparently they do chicken kebabs, and donna kebab wraps, but not chicken kebab wraps. What absolute lunacy is this. I know Brexit Britain has meant all logic and common sense to reality has been thrown out the window in South Shields, but this is mental
Best pizza place in Shields. The pizzas are amazing, fast delivery and the food is always hot when it gets here. Someone else mentioned the kebab portions are small, the chicken ones do seem to be small for the price but they are very tasty. Donner meat portions are a good size though.
Lush Donna kebabs. Delivery is a bit expensive though.
Ive used Donatello's for almost 30 years and have stayed loyal due to knowing long serving staff members and the choice of food available its therefore disappointing to give negative feedback from tonights delivery where pizza and kebab were both cold upon arrival whether this because too many orders were taken to be delivered resulting in food being made too early prior to delivery or something else but considering I ordered through the website and paid a delivery charge the quality of such must improve or I shall regrettably choose to order from the numerous other options available to me in South Shields in future ,you may be short of drivers due to Covid or just eat Bike riders but that's not your customers problem ....please improve
Food was late, had chips missing, was told they'd be sent out straight away and never turned up. Pizza was barely warm and had hardly any spice to it for a hotshot I've had from here dozens of times. My lass enjoyed her burger though.
