Turns out they don't actually sell dolphin, just clever marketing to get you in store. However the chips were good and the salt was the best I've tasted for the best part of a decade.

We've been using The Dolphin regularly for about 10 years and until recently have been very satisfied. Trouble is, the quality has severely deteriorated over the past few months. And the portions of both fish and chips has been reduced to about half of what you used to get. The last fish supper I got was also under-cooked and I don't even think the fish was haddock as stated. I'm very disappointed as this was our favourite chippy and now we have been forced to use 1st pizza direct. Sad days. 😕

For many years we've got haddock suppers here to eat on the harbour wall on the last night of our summer holiday. Great.
