Husband and I visited this evening Sunday 21st Jan. What a treat! The best fish & chips in Eastbourne.The freshest cod, lightest crisp non greasy batter and 'home made' tasting chips all beautifully cooked. And the mushy peas are good too. All served by wonderful staff. Bright, clean dining surroundings. Will definitely return. Deserved praise.

Meagre portions. Slightly below average food.  Batter a bit greasy indicating wrong frying temp but this mistake is made by many fish and chip bars. This is Eastbourne. Lots of tourists come and eat the fare and never come back again anyway which is why so many restaurants like this just don't bother to be excellent. Friendly staff. Really got to do better.

I love eating here.  The chips have always been perfectly cooked and the cod is lovely and fresh.  I would definitely recommend the Dolphin

What a meal, as a contractor I work all over the country eating take away from various places and this I must say this is by far 1 of the best chippy's I have eaten from.
Haddock, chips and mushy peas, haddock was superbly cooked it melted in my mouth, and the chips was brilliant no grease at all and cooked to perfection.
Top marks guys 👍 keep up the good cooking

The staff were friendly, but not clingy and the  Skate i had was commendably made. The tea was also great!
